Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The App is operated by Codibex LLP, located at B-8, Third Floor, Sector 2, Noida - 201301, India. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us at admin@codibex.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details: your name and email address, obtained when you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Birth details: your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth (including the associated geographic coordinates). This information is required to generate your astrological chart.
• Chat content: the questions and messages you send in the in-app chat, and the responses generated for you.
• Life events you choose to record: notes, dates, and tags you add about events in your life.
• Information about people you add as Connections: if you use the Connections feature, you may enter the name and birth details of other people. You should only add this information if you have that person’s consent to do so. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share their details with us.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and analytics data: how you interact with the App — screens viewed, features used, and similar event data — used to understand and improve the product.
• Diagnostic data: crash reports and error logs that help us fix problems.
• Device and technical data: device type, operating system version, app version, and a device or installation identifier.
• Push notification token: if you enable notifications, a token that allows us to deliver them.

Payment information

When you make a purchase, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, or our payment processor for applicable real-world services. We do not collect or store your full card or banking details. We receive confirmation of the transaction and a limited record of what was purchased.

3. How we use your information

• To generate your astrological chart, readings, and personalised content.
• To operate the in-app chat and produce responses to your questions.
• To provide features such as the Life Canvas, Connections, prediction tracking, and personalised alerts.
• To send you notifications you have enabled.
• To process your purchases and maintain your in-app credit balance.
• To analyse usage, diagnose problems, and improve the App.
• To protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks, and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) applies, we process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you submit it, and where necessary to provide the services you have requested. You may withdraw your consent at any time, as described in the “Your rights” section below. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain features.

5. How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the App, and only as needed for them to perform their function. These include:

Some of these providers may process data on servers located outside India. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely wherever it is processed. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App. Your birth chart and the records you create (life events, predictions, connections) are retained so the App can function and so your history is preserved for you. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records to meet legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data and your account.
• Withdraw consent you have previously given.
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. How to delete your data

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data in either of these ways:

• In the App, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompts.
• Email admin@codibex.com with the subject line “Delete my account” from the email address linked to your account.

Once your account is deleted, your chart, chat history, life events, predictions, and connections are permanently removed, subject to the limited legal retention noted above.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to address any incidents promptly.

10. Children

The App is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

12. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may contact our Grievance Officer for any complaints regarding your personal data:
